136 years before killing of John Allen Chau, Richard Southwell Bourke, 6th Earl of Mayo, KP, GCSI, PC (21 February 1822 – 8 February 1872), Viceroy of British India was assassinated in Andaman sea . Lord Mayo was stabbed to death, as a revenge,by a life convict exiled to Kalapani,  while missionary youth was killed in self defence by proud Sentinelese.
