Vladimirovich Diplomacy : Not to get provoked by lame duck POTUS
"The Russian diplomats returning home will spend the New Year Holidays with their relatives and dear ones. At home. We will not create problems for US diplomats. We will not expel anybody," Putin said in a statement circulated by the Kremlin press service.

Fitting response to lame duck POTUS :
Putin decides not to expel US diplomats from Russia in response to Washington’s actions -  Russian statement.

India rejects Pakistan's attack on Hindu organisations  like RSS

New Delhi. Dec 30. Indian Foreign Office spokesperson today reacted strongly to Pakistan's allegation against Indian Hindu Organisations closely connected with Modi government.
He said, "The Pakistan MoFA statement of yesterday is absurd even by their standards.
"Labelling bonafide Indian political parties and social and cultural organisations as terrorist organisations seems a desperate attempt to deflect international focus from Pakistan's own complicity in spawning internationally proscribed organisations like LeT, JuD and JeM, which continue to target Pakistan's neighbours from territory under Pakistan's control."

Terrorist Masood Azhar Issue
China should show more understanding of the danger posed to all by terrorism  : India
New Delhi Dec 30 . Indian Foreign Office spokesperson  today  said, "We note with concern China’s decision to block the proposal to list Masood Azhar as a designated terrorist under the 1267 Sanctions Committee of the UN Security Council which had been presented nine months ago and had received the strong backing of all other members of the Committee.

"The international community is aware that the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed which is proscribed by the United Nations, has been responsible for innumerable terrorist attacks on India including the Pathankot Air Base attack. The inability of the international community to list its leader Masood Azhar is an unfortunate blow to the concerted efforts to effectively counter all forms of terrorism, and confirms prevalence of double standards in the fight against terrorism.

"This decision by China is surprising as China herself has been affected by the scourge of terrorism and has declared opposition to all forms of terrorism. As a consequence of this decision, the UN Security Council has again been prevented from acting against the leader of a listed terrorist organization.

"We had expected China would have been more understanding of the danger posed to all by terrorism and would join India and others in fighting the common challenge of terrorism.

"On our part, we will continue to push forward with resolute determination through the use of all options available with us to bring perpetrators of terrorist violence to justice."

Narendra Modi : Raj Kapoor of international diplomacy
A sentence in Russian speaks  an epic
स्तारीय द्रुग लुछे नोविख़ द्वुख
[Means: An Old friend is better than two new friends.]

New Delhi. Narendra Modi knows how to win new friends. And more importantly he knows how to keep old friendship intact and cherish it.
India's Pro West elites and media till this morning were whispering among themselves and amidst gullible listeners about a shift in India's foreign policy. They overplayed the Russia-Pakistan anti-terrorism drills in KPK and tried to convince Indian people that Russia is changing its strategic priorities in view of  India's changing strategic position in favour of US.
But in a single sentence Narendra Modi spoke an epic. In 1950s Russians sang Avaraa huun (आवारा हूँ)  in the streets of Moscow ; Raj Kapoor was their  icon .Modi proved himself as Raj Kapoor of international diplomacy.

Narendra Modi's press statement in 17th India-Russia summit

Your Excellency President Vladimir Putin,
Distinguished members of the Russian and Indian delegations,
Members of the media,

It gives me great pleasure to welcome President Putin, an old friend of India, here in Goa today. As they say in Russian:

स्तारीय द्रुग लुछे नोविख़ द्वुख
[Means: An Old friend is better than two new friends.]

Excellency Putin, I am aware of your deep affection for India. Your personal attention has been a source of strength in our relationship. And, in the complex and changing global context, your leadership has provided stability and substance to our strategic partnership. Ours is a truly privileged and unique relationship.

Friends,

Since the last two Annual Summits, the journey of our partnership has seen renewed focus and drive. President Putin and I have just concluded an extensive and useful conversation on the entire spectrum of our engagement. The highly productive outcomes of our meeting clearly establish the special and privileged nature of our strategic partnership. They also lay the foundations for deeper defence and economic ties in years ahead. The agreements on manufacturing of Kamov 226T helicopters; constructions of frigates; and acquisition and building of other defence platforms are in synergy with India’s technology and security priorities. They also help us achieve the objectives of Make in India. We have also agreed to work on an annual military industrial conference that will allow stakeholders on both sides to institute and push collaboration. These projects are new chapters in a long history of strong and diverse defence partnership that both sides can take much pride in. Just minutes ago, with dedication of Kudankulum 2 and laying of foundation concrete of Kundankulum 3 and 4, we saw the tangible results of India-Russia cooperation in the field of Civil Nuclear Energy. And, with proposed construction of another eight reactors, our wide ranging cooperation in nuclear energy is set to bring rich dividends for both of us. It also fits in with our needs of energy security, access to high technology and greater localization and manufacturing in India. Last year in Moscow, I had said that we would be enlarging our presence in Russia’s Hydrocarbon sector. In last four months alone, in a clear expression of our strong and deep engagement in the Hydrocarbon sector, Indian companies have invested close to US Dollars 5.5 billion in Russia’s Oil and Gas sector. And, with President Putin’s support, we are ready and willing to expand the scope of our engagement further. We are also undertaking a joint study of a gas pipeline route between our two countries. A combination of robust civil nuclear cooperation, LNG sourcing, partnership in the Oil and Gas sector, and engagement in renewables can construct a promising ‘Energy Bridge’ between our two countries.

Friends,

With an eye on the future, we also agreed to set up a Science and Technology Commission. Through this our societies will reap the benefits of joint development, transfer and sharing of cutting edge technologies in different fields. As with the last Summit, we also continue to expand, diversify and deepen our economic engagement.Businesses and Industry between our two countries is connected more deeply today. Trade and investment ties are on the upswing. And, with President Putin’s backing, we hope to fast track India’s association with Eurasian Economic Union Free Trade Agreement. The Green Corridor and the International North South Transport Corridor will serve to strengthen trade facilitation, logistical links and ensure better connectivity between our countries. Our efforts for early setting up of the Investment Fund of US Dollars 1 billion between National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF) and Russia Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) will help advance our infrastructure partnership. We also want our economic linkages to connect the regions and states in both countries.

Friends,

The success of this Summit shines a spotlight on the abiding strength of India-Russia strategic partnership. It also highlights our strong convergence of views and positions on pressing international and regional issues. Russia’s clear stand on the need to combat terrorism mirrors our own. We deeply appreciate Russia’s understanding and support of our actions to fight cross-border terrorism, that threatens our entire region. We both affirmed the need for zero tolerance in dealing with terrorists and their supporters. President Putin and I noted the similarity of our views on the situation in Afghanistan and turmoil in West Asia.We also agreed to work closely to respond to the challenges posed by the unsettled nature of the global economic and financial markets. Our close collaboration at the United Nations, BRICS, East Asia Summit, G-20, Shanghai Cooperation Organization makes our partnership truly global, both in its scope and coverage.

Excellency Putin,

As we approach the seventieth (70th) anniversary of the establishment of our diplomatic ties next year, India and Russia are celebrating and building on the achievements of our past. We are working to model a partnership that befits our common ambition and meets our shared goals for the twenty-first (21st) century. Our close friendship has given clear direction, fresh impulse, stronger momentum and rich content to our ties.In the emerging regional and global landscape, it has been a source of strength and substance, a driver of peace and a factor of stability.

As one would say it in Russian:

इंडियाई रस्सीया-रुका अब रुकु व स्वेतलोय बदूशीय
[India and Russia-together to a bright future.]

Thank you! Thank you very much.

S-400 : Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar's Statement In Rajya Sabha in May 2016
New Delhi . Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar informed the Rajya Sabha that The five firing units of S-400 LRSAM system are planned for induction in Indian Air Force in 13th plan period (2017-2022).
He said S-400 has better performance parameters compared to S-300 on account of (i) maximum and minimum target engagement range, (ii) minimum target engagement altitude, (iii) maximum speed of target engaged, (iv) number of targets engaged simultaneously, (v) maximum radar cross-section of targets engaged, and (vi) deployment time.
He further said The Defence Acquisition Council has in its meeting held on 17th December, 2015, accorded approval for purchase of S-400 LRSAM system (Triumf Missile System) along with associated equipment and missiles from Russia.
A contract has been signed for supply of five Full Mission Simulators for SU-30 MKI aircraft with a Russian firm during 2015-16.

New Delhi. S-400 in Syria deterred Western powers to obstruct Russian air campaign against terrorists . The most advanced anti-missile  air defence system would provide India much needed "kavach".
A triumph of Indian diplomacy. (Pro West Indian media would make headline : S-400 would deter China)

UNCLOS Award : Careful Study takes only few hours for MEA Officials

New Delhi/Varanasi. The MEA, after saying that it was carefully studying the UNCLOS Award, came out with a statement within couple of hours . The statement was short but it puts onus on China to normalize situation in South China Sea .
The MEA Says, " India has noted the Award of the Arbitral Tribunal constituted under Annex VII of the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of Sea (UNCLOS) in the matter concerning the Republic of the Philippines and the People’s Republic of China.

"India supports freedom of navigation and over flight, and unimpeded commerce, based on the principles of international law, as reflected notably in the UNCLOS. India believes that States should resolve disputes through peaceful means without threat or use of force and exercise self-restraint in the conduct of activities that could complicate or escalate disputes affecting peace and stability.

"Sea lanes of communication passing through the South China Sea are critical for peace, stability, prosperity and development. As a State Party to the UNCLOS, India urges all parties to show utmost respect for the UNCLOS, which establishes the international legal order of the seas and oceans."
India, after "studying" UNCLOS Award, says China should show  utmost respect for the UNCLOS
UNCLOS award : China rejects, East Asia welcomes and India "studying it carefully"

New Delhi/Varanasi. India , it appears, has overcome "only one country" ( opposition in NSG) mania and has adopted a cautious approach to the South China Sea (SCS) dispute. Typical to India, the MEA avoided using  term SCS and only referred  "matter concerning the Republic of the Philippines and the Peoples Republic of China."
And when MEA says that it is  "studying it carefully",  it means the matter hardly requires any studying . China, Himalayan sibling, should appreciate India's gesture.

India's cautious response  on UNCLOS award

New Delhi/Varanasi. MEA statement says,  "India has noted the Award of the Arbitral Tribunal constituted under Annex VII of the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) in the matter concerning the Republic of the Philippines and the Peoples Republic of China and is studying it carefully."

Narendra Modi's Africa tour : treading Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Path

Time to Revive NAM
Narendra Modi's new Avatara : PPM (Pracharaka Prime Minister)

New Delhi/Varanasi . Now deal with Pracharaka Narendra Modi. Recent ministry expansion brings a sea change in the national politics as just in the mid way, Narendra Modi switches over to a new track- the track laid down by Hindu nationalist organisations/movements. It is an overt manifestation of new politics of Hindu centric governance .
Modi might not be the sole author of this whole script- some specific inputs must have come from RSS headquarters, though  Modi did not need any such inputs, he has only to relive his Pracharaka past. He was an RSS pracharaka for decades and if he would not have jumped in the politics, he  would be in the  echelon of the organisation.
Modi's personality and image (especially is sartorial obsession)  differ so much from a conventional pracharaka, but his world view, thought and language are distinctively have Pracharaka imprints. Pracharakas are 'whole timers' who lead bachelor life and devote time and energy to the cause of Hindu rejuvenation.
It is too early  to predict what this would bring to India- good or bad.

Narendra Modi's "Bagh Bakree" Diplomacy - some explanations

New Delhi/Varanasi.  Narendra Modi must have known the "Bagh Bakree" (tiger-goat) term  way back in  his childhood when he used to sell tea at the platform of Vadnagar railway station, his native place. Father Damodardas, while preparing tea, might have used the "Bagh Bakree Tea", a famous 125 year old  brand having roots in Gujarat.
The brand name is unique- India's most popular beverage has taste of two different kinds of animal traits and both can live in peace and harmony. Tiger is India's national animal and Bakree is Mahatma's little cow . The Mahatma preferred  Bakree over holy cow for obvious reasons . Cow occasionally uses her horns and kicks and owner has to endure them to collect milk, only next to nectar. Goats are as harmless as the Mahatma himself. Most peaceful and Most violent people on earth, erected his statues world over.
Bal Narendra is now Prime Minister of world's largest democracy and the imprint of Bagh and Bakree is now taking a concrete shape in his foreign policy. He is confident that he can befriend both- tiger and goat simultaneously.
Shia-Sunni conflict or  new cold war between US and Russia and US and China do not bother him. He, in an interview on Monday, said it is possible to keep friendly relations and do business with two mutually inimical countries. He was forthright in giving example of his successful engagement with Saudi Arabia and Qatar on one one hand and Iran on the other .
In his Post graduation Modi opted International Relations as one of the papers  and we are told that he got 48/100 marks. Perhaps in examination he dwelt more on his Bagh- Bakree understanding of world affairs than Bismark and Hans Morgenthau.
Overall, his Bagh Bakree diplomacy is proving successful, despite a setback in NSG.

Narendra Modi's "Bagh-Bakree (Tiger-Goat) Diplomacy" has its limitations

Narendra Modi's rendering of Virudaavali at Capitol Hill
His pronunciation saved the day "foolly"

Varanasi/New Delhi. Goddess Saraswati was listening to  her prodigy son speaking before a packed hall at Capitol Hill. As a proud mother she was ignoring errors and faults here and there. She got annoyed when the son tried to revive lost medieval tradition of Bhaats and Chaarans rendering virudaavali of the rulers. She thought the son should at least have a sense of proportion. And as the son went on and went on she decided to intervene.
The Goddess descended on son's jihvaa (tongue). And audiences heard the Honorable Prime Minster of Republic of India uttering - "we will realise the "fool" promise of this extraordinary relationship".

Banarasis will not mind fool understanding, fool cooperation and fool partnership with United States.

United States is in election mode and the best election speech is delivered by Narendra Modi at Capitol Hill

Varanasi/New Delhi . Narendra Modi whispered a gurumantra in the ears of his hardened detractors  (after Capitol Hill address his admirers )  and they would chant the mantra  for next one decade- The US is indispensable partner ! The US is indispensable partner !!
A clever political googly .

Narendra Modi's Address at Capitol Hill

Varanasi/New Delhi.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address can be summarised in two sentences-
                                    India is Heaven's Lower Chamber
United States is Heaven's Upper Chamber
Our Man in Parliament adhered to Vedic edict- Na Bruyat Satyam Apriyam ( one should not speak a bitter truth) . And he earned applauses and standing ovations. Banarasis were not impressed.

Narendra Modi at the Arlington Cemetery : An Indian Prime Minister in the land of Indians

Time to remember fellow Indians, who once blessed the land

Varanasi/New Delhi .  Narendra Modi  laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, at the Arlington Cemetery soon after his arrival  in Washington DC on Monday afternoon. Dead, soldiers and martyrs deserve respect.
One wonders whether there exists any cemetery or memorial in honour or remembrance of native Indians who dwelled this land before the arrival of white settlers.  Necostin Indians were plundered and butchered by the encroachers and were driven to forests and hills.
A few hundred surviving Indians live in reserves. And their land now houses military and administrative establishment of the Empire.
Modi is known for doing his home work about the places and people , to be visited, to be engaged with. But United States' Indian ethos is too much for him.
Modi is to address US Congress at Capitol Hill on June 8. The temple of US democracy was build on land of Anacostian Indians . The soil is soaked with their blood and bones.
At Capitol Hill Modi should pay homage to Indians and recite one of their poems as if reciting a Vedic richa-

Oh Great Spirit
Of the Indian People
Hear my words
For they are words that come
From the heart, soul and mind.
Oh Great Spirit
Be my eyes,
Be my ears,
Be my heart,
Be my soul,
So that I may walk
With dignity and pride.
Oh Great Spirit
Of the Indian People
Know of me.
For I am of your people.
I am Indian,
An Indian of the Circle of Life
A prisoner of war
In my own land!
                                             California Moment !

Varanasi/New Delhi. It is California moment . World is watching; establishment is nervous. Basic principle of Democracy- of the people, by the people and for the people is at stake.

Fire on South China Sea : Narendra Modi should  act as a peace broker  between  US- China

Capitol Hill address should focus on an international Panchsheel.

" No fear of trouble" is really troubling

Varanasi/New Delhi . Narendra Modi's Defence Minister, Manohar Parrikar sounds a voice of sanity and moderation at Shangri-La Dialogue. He made some suggestions  to defuse tension in South-China sea. Now, Modi should present an  international Panchsheel  charter at Capitol Hill.
Parrikar said in Shangri-La Dialogue, "The way forward here is for the parties to these disputes to renounce the threat or use of force against other states......While we do not take a position on territorial disputes, which should be resolved peacefully without the threat or use of force, we firmly uphold freedom of navigation and overflight in accordance with international law, in particular the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea."
Interventionist outsiders should not be allowed to kill Asian Story. Civilizational siblings, India and China should act in tandem .

Friday 3 June 2016

Narendra Modi's address (Man Ki Baat) at Capitol Hill : too many inputs From Tulsi Gabbard, Rojario Dawson and Susan Sarandon
Varanasi/ New Delhi . Our Man in Parliament has just concluded 20th edition of Man Ki Baat in India. He invites, before the every episode, suggestions from common people, to be included in the conversation. Now he has got an opportunity to bring his Man Ki Baat to Capitol Hill.
Lalbujhakkads of Foreign Office here are busy in preparing the speech of Our Man Parliament to be delivered at the Capitol Hill, the joint sitting of the Congress. The man still not invited suggestion from Indian people. Perhaps Lalbujhakkads think that common Indians lack any understanding of complex world of foreign relations and diplomacy. But how ignorant they are. An ordinary Banarasi  contemplates on the universe leave alone the planet earth.
Nevertheless, Narendra Modi is lucky that he already has  plenty of suggestions in hand. He can conclude his speech with the quotes from Sanyasi rebel Bernie Sanders. And before that  he is at liberty to include inputs from the speeches made by our own Tulsi Gabbard, Rosario Dawson and Susan Sarandon. Are they from Hollywood or MIT?
Rock star Modi will shake the Establishment  from the ground zero.
Narendra Modi's Man Ki Baat at Capitol Hill- some suggestions from Banarasis

Varanasi/ New Delhi. Stick to Hindi, your English pronunciation will furnish one more excuse to Donald Trump to attack poor BPO's fellows. You sing like cuckoo in Hindi and caw or kraa in English.
Our Man in Parliament at Capitol Hill

Varanasi/ New Delhi . Our Man in Parliament at Capitol Hill. Where will he stand , on the podium of  the joint sitting of the Congress or in dock during hearing of Senate committee on human rights .
Either way, he should read out a similar text, just throw  Senator Bernie Sanders speech on the face of high priests of a so-called democracy. He should gather some courage to emulate Bernie, and let the corporate slaves feel the burn.

Lata Mangeshkar, the greatest living Indian is insulted and Our Man in Parliament is silent. It reminds one of Bhishma's silence during  cheeraharan in Mahabharat . Silence was and is a sin.

Are you listening Sri Narendra Modi ?
NYT's "so-called play back singer" smear against Lataji warrants  MEA's official protest

Wednesday 25 May 2016

What is common between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Senator Bernie Sanders : both are victims of corporate media

Varanasi/ New Delhi . Our Man in Parliament neutralized corporate media in India with the help of the masses and Bernie Sanders is doing same thing with the help of youth power. On June 7, Modi will land on the East Coast and Bernie tornado makes a landfall on the West Coast at California.
One hopes,  Modi's friend Nancy Pelosi will arrange a meeting of these two phenomenons. Nancy Pelosi is perhaps only woman on the globe whom Our Man in Parliament hugged (in public).
Banarasis are particularly happy about the Bernie's stand on use of marijuana . In Varanasi bhang (cannabis)  is legalized and any one can buy his (or her ) goli or gola from a licensed shop .Unfortunately a few years ago, government prohibited sale of ganja (marijuana) . Nevertheless , ganja can also be obtained from bhang shops. Our logic is simple when the presiding god of our holy city, Shiva is fond of these herbs how can you deprive the devotees of the Lord of his prasad.

Sunday 22 May 2016

Bernie Sanders heralds "American Spring", after so many "Spring" farce , the real one

Friday 20 May 2016

Varanasi/ New Delhi.World will watch Bernie Sanders making history in California on June 7 and the  MEA thinks that Narendra Modi  would make  history by addressing US Congress at the Capitol Hill on the same date.
What would be there in the Congress meet in the absence of  Vermont Senator ?
Then go : But not to the East coast to meet lame duck President but to the West coast , California, to meet Bernie Sanders , the incoming one

Drought in India : Narendra modi  on US visit

Varanasi/New Delhi . Our Man in Parliament has his own priorities. As the almost  entire country is reeling under severe drought he prefers to visits Washington to meet  lame duck President . For what?  To strengthen the India-US bilateral strategic partnership !

The MEA release says- 'At the invitation of the US President H.E. Mr. Barack Obama, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will visit Washington DC on June 7-8, 2016.

"The India-US bilateral strategic partnership has developed strongly, particularly during the last two years under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and President Obama. The main objective of the forthcoming visit of Prime Minister would be to consolidate the progress made in diverse areas such as economy, energy, environment, defence and security, and to intensify cooperation for the future.

"Prime Minister has also been invited by the Speaker of the US House of Representative, H.E. Mr. Paul Ryan, to address a Joint Meeting of the US Congress which he has accepted.  "I am Bernie Sanders among the candidates"- thus spake Tulsi Gabbard's Lord
"But don't emulate my Ranchhordas form"- he added
Varanasi/New Delhi. The Lord is not only for good, he also represents human weaknesses and foolishness. So, the Indians, especially Gujaratis worship Krishna in Ranchhordas form. Ranchhordas means person who fled the battlefield. In an episode of Mahabharata, Krishna fled (chhor) the battlefield (ran) of Kurukshetra to escape the shower of Bhishma Pitamah's deadly arrows. So, the Lord survived.
Now in United States, the establishment want that Bernie Sanders should withdraw from the primaries in favor of Hillary. What a suggestion! In fact it is an admission of defeat on their part . For Bernie Sanders, it is  time to declare , " I am not Ranchhordas". Hopefully, the devotee Tulsi Gabbard will not mind .

" I am Bernie Sanders among the candidates"- thus spake Tulsi Gabbard's Lord

Varanasi/ New Delhi . Her personal copy of Bhagavad Gita is with Prime Minister Narendra Modi but with the message of the Lord' Song in  heart, the Veteran is putting  all her energy to safeguard hope and belief in mankind, in the battlefield of the Primaries. And her Lord said,
 I am Sun among the lights and radiance;
 I am Himalayas among the unmovable things;
Among the Rivers I am Ganga (Ganges)
I am the silence among secret things and of the wise I am the wisdom

On the other side of the globe, it is fascinating to watch Tulsi Gabbard introducing a rajarshi to voters. As the Primaries are about to conclude, the world awaits with anxiety the final fixture. Trump vs Hillary or Trump vs Bernie.
The very presence of Bernie Sanders in the race is reassuring, all is yet not lost in this messy world . Here is a sage like politician, who represents hopes and aspirations of two generation younger voters.
Anyone can feel a spark of divinity in the gentle, soft and iron-willed speaker making a point to the citizens. As if we were listening an akashvani -" Among the candidates, I am Bernie Sanders".
The US presidential election , perhaps, never witnessed such  contrasting personalities. Trump or Hillary,  is no choice. They are same, if not one. It is vote for Bernie or NOTA or as Americans are saying "Bernie or Bust".
Why should a Banarasi sitting thousands miles away from California anxiously awaits the result of most crucial round scheduled there?
In the city of burning ghats we know value of life lived.

Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar clears the air about LEMOA

Finally there is some clarity about controversial LEMOA : it is not a Defence Agreement on unrestricted accessing military bases
New Delhi. Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar informed the Rajya Sabha today (May10) that During the visit of US Secretary of Defence to India from 10-13 April 2016, it was agreed, in-principle, to conclude a Logistics Exchange Memorandum Agreement.
He said the proposed Agreement envisages a framework for logistic support for activities such as joint exercises, training or humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, on a case by case basis, on mutual consent of both countries.

But  much more caution is needed as an old Arabian proverb says If the camel once gets his nose in the tent, his body will soon follow.

Narendra Modi under siege : Smear campaign reaches its peak
New Delhi. Conspirators are desperate; plot is thickening and Prime Minster Narendra Modi is all but derailed from his agenda . Last week three developments took place apparently disconnected  but inherently well connected with a sole aim of weakening authority of the  PM and breaking his morale.
First- United States report declared him complicit in Gujarat riots
Second- A well known Hindu ideologue Arun Shourie termed him a "dark triad"personality
Third- A serving Chief Minister of national capital state of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal challenged veracity of Modi's Bachelor and Masters degree.

As far as "United States commission on International  Religious Freedom" report is concerned Anti- Modi media is in full agreement with its  observations and findings . Media downplayed the report, some  leading newspapers even did not mention neither the report nor the  Indian Foreign Office's rebuttal. The reason - not any favour to Modi.  Media was following foreign demarche not to vitiate the atmosphere of Modi's forthcoming US visit, where LSA is on table.
Modi has only one kavach (shield) to save himself and India of his dream- support of people of India. He must not lose it. Can he undertake a month long tour to drought hit regions of the country to show solidarity with suffering masses. As said earlier- digging pits for water conservation  in drought affected regions is many times more fruitful than applause at Capitol Hill or any public reception.
