Shashi Tharoor set Nrendra Modi's UK visit agenda

New Delhi. Seldom it happens .But in India it happens quite often, when a voice emerges from an unexpected quarter . "2+2= 4" economist Manmohan Singh praised British colonialist in his Oxford speech in 2005. But a sane and rare voice in Congress, Shashi Tharoor resorted to some plain talking. In fact Shashi was echoing the words of Great old man of Indian nationalism Dada Bhai Nauroji ( Poverty and Un-British rule in India). A century later Indians can say that it was not Un-British at all . It was very much British in its cruelty and exploitation.
Modi should enquire about the statue of Dadabahi which is awaiting installation.Modi should make it a point to press on Prime minister Cameron to grant a prime location in London for the statue. The grand old man would mock the West Minister colonialists.

Narendra Modi should emulate Shashi Tharoor during UK visit

New Delhi. Simply praising Shahi Tharoor for his Oxford lecture is not enough, Narendra Modi should emulate him during his forthcoming UK visit.

Colour Revolution would begin with a war cry -"Narendra Modi is a thief"

New Delhi. Thieves are desperate, they want  to steal the most precious Modi asset  ' a corruption/ scam free' governance . In a sense, thieves, foreign and domestic, would try to reenact Moscow December 2011. There is no dearth of fifth/sixth columnist and 'pussy riots' in India . They are only buying time to strike at a right moment . Soon after Modi's historic election victory, some pro west analyst termed the result as "stolen mandate".
Manufactured scams like Lalitgate etc are only a pretext and today if Sushma Swaraj is on the hit list it is only because of the fact that conspirators are aware that targeting Modi would not be easy. He still commands support of Indian people and has will power to thwart any conspiracy.
To brand national leaders as thief is not a new thing in India. In cold war era opposition including Modi's Jan Sangh, coined a slogan- " gali gali men shor hai, Indira Gandhi chor hai " ( in every street, there is a  rumbling- Indira Gandhi is a thief). Later in 1989, a congress deserter V P Singh orchestrated anti Rajiv Gandhi campaign - " Rajiv Gandhi is a Swiss bank account holder in which Bofors graft money has been  deposited. He is a chor (thief)".
Campaign against Indira resulted in imposition of emergency in 1975. And campaign against Rajiv dislodged him from power. After a sustained character assassination campaign Rajiv , deprived of vital security, was assassinated. And what is wonder of wonders- Sonia joined hands with V P Singh to counter Atal Bihari Vahpayee's government .
Putin survived Moscow-2011, and in fact emerged stronger out of west engineered crisis. Would Modi be able to perform the same feat in a possible colour  revolution. No one can say for sure. In some respect, Modi is weaker than Putin, though on some other counts he is stronger than Putin.
He has enough time to take counter measures. He, like Putin, tamed Ford Foundation and some of foreign funded NGOs and checked infiltratioin of 'Economic Hit Men' in government apparatus. But pro West Media and Oxbridge mercenaries still remain a major challenge .

"Modi has left the stage" - New phrase of International diplomacy

Forget about Elvis Presley or Madonna. No one cares where they were/ are. The latest phrase in the international diplomacy is " Narendra Modi has left the stage" or "left the building";  in fact " he flew back home ".
But the audiences are still chanting- Modi, Modi at the venue.

Narendra Modi : Mystery Man of international diplomacy is talking of Mackinder/ Dugin ?

New Delhi/ Varanasi. The mystery is here to stay and it only thickened in Ufa when Narendra Modi delivered his press statement in Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit. Nearly after 45 years, India joined a security block ,the  SCO, that too along with her estranged sibling Pakistan. Earlier India was in friendship treaty with erstwhile Soviet Union in 1970s. Paradoxically, Narendra Modi's party (then Jan Sangh) was highly critical of this friendship treaty initiated by Indira Gandhi. Modi might have hit the street to oppose this treaty as a party program . But, now as "He-Indira Gandhi", he is striving for something very very big. BRICS and SCO are only a beginning.
The mystery man of international diplomacy said at SCO something strange. One wonders whether this was solely his mental product or was a part of strategic thinking of Indian Foreign Office. Referring Asia/ Eurasia,  Modi said, "For the past few centuries, we have all looked away from the centre of this great landmass, towards the sea and other regions. The time has come to reach out to each other across this region."
Modi sounds like Halford Mackinder or Alexander Dugin ( the mystery man of Kremlin) .             "Land versus ocean" formulation was never heard in Indian foreign policy.
It is not clear whether Modi was referring the domination of ocean powers , England and United States, who heralded era of Imperialism and Colonialism, 17th-18th century onward. But India and China  know quite well what ocean powers did to them.
Perhaps Modi's "land vs. ocean" formulation was benign one. He was only emphasizing the need of connectivity among central and south Asian countries;  but in the era of new cold war one can not say for sure.
What Mackinder said or Dugin is saying,  is so bizarre for common man. For Indians, who know or care little about geostrategy,  it is as if someone were talking about  Mars. Nevertheless , some Indian ancient tales and myths can provide some clues.
Lord Rama's Ayodhya was land and Demon Ravana's  Lanka was ocean.  Rama and his monkey army built stone bridge to cross the ocean to  invade golden Lanka and rescue Sita. After destroying Ravana's empire the Rama army returned back to landmass .  The first thing the Lord did was something strange .  He partially destroyed  the bridge by hitting it with bow-end (Dhanushkodi). One can argue the Lord meant - Land should remain land , ocean should remain ocean.
Then there is something sinister with the ocean- it is audacious, uncaring and threatening. Perhaps for this reason Sage Agastya drank the ocean!
Modi talks about Vasudhaiva kutumbakam ( whole world is one family) and Vishwaguru (world teacher) role for India . And Vishwaguru should teach that  Landmass and ocean can live together in peace and harmony.

Narendra Modi, Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping are on the same page : foreign funded NGOs feeling heat

New Delhi. India, Russia and China have become a "triangle" as far as dealing with the foreign funded NGOs  is concerned and Narendra Modi, Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping appear to be on the same page. As  soon as Modi landed in New Delhi after his  successful BRICS and SCO summit visits, sleuths of the CBI raided Mumbai premises of  Teesta Setalvad and her husband Javed, who received funds from Ford Foundation .  A few hours later it was announced that  leading global "charity", the Ford Foundation ,  has frozen $4 million in funding to India. The aid was meant for "poor and needy people". In Orwellian language the "five star activists"are poor and needy .
For the past few weeks , Pro West media and US sympathisers  were busy in circulating the news that Modi government's crackdown on NGOs is result of lack of communication between Ministry of Home affairs and Ministry of External Affairs. We were told that Prime Minister's Office was not involved in the decision. And when US officials including New Delhi based ambassador Richard Verma lodged a protest with the PMO, the latter  asked a report from the Home Ministry  and was about to remove Ford Foundation from "watch list".
But the  development proves that Modi is immune to outside pressure and arm twisting. He is not Manmohan Singh who was willing to do anything to please the masters.
The fact is that Modi survived the foreign funded NGOs. He faced, all these years, the smear campaign launched or engineered by these  organisations. If he is not in Sabarmati jail it is because of hundreds of  millions of voters of India who elected him as Prime Minister . After the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, foreign funded  NGOs, for a while,  kept low profile but in recent months they came out of hibernation and are again engaged in old dirty game to discredit and weaken the Modi government . Modi is all aware that"Gujarat riot industry"is still very well in business .

A rabid Modi critic, dwarfish (intellectually) Pankaj Misha was early to note the mindset of Modi . He observed, quite  rightly, that Modi, Putin and Xi were on the same page.
In an article"Rise of the Chest-Thumpers",  he mentioned , " In all these countries [ India, Russia and China] , a crackdown on nongovernmental organisations- usually denounced as handmaidens of the West- and greater intolerance of dissent have accompanied a fresh attempt at mass ideological indoctrination.........In all these cases, the authority, prestige and mystique of the state is being refurbished through personality cult . "
The HMV Mishra is not happy with the Triangle governments, who are only exercising their sovereign rights to defend the national interest and  resist foreign interferences through NGOs.
