Quackery of The Lancet - Editorial based on falsehood

Just Withdraw the editorial for the sake of humanity.

The journal globally considered bible of medical research and development. For young (and old) researchers and common readers articles published in the journal are considered gospel truth. So, it is strange and painful and disgusting that editors of The Lancet decided to publish an "editorial" on Covid situation in India based on falsehood peddled  by Western Media. For NYT and WAPO and WSJ and TIME the heroic efforts of health workers were not noteworthy. They were more interested in the burning pyres and wailing relatives.World has seen worst kind of Vulture Journalism (and here I sympathies with vultures who  only  follow their natural dharma) in the context of Covid situation in India. Dead were defiled, relatives were inflicted more pain and grief and sorrow were commercialized . And these journalists are competing for Pulitzer.

Dear Editors, India is world's largest democracy and as an elected Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is accountable to 1300 million people and 900 million voters. Just today Modi interacted 27 EU leaders in a Summit. And world knows that the PM of India commands more respect and trust than the 27 EU leaders put together.

Mistakes and Shortcomings only make us human, we learn and overcome them as human. "Self inflicting" injuries , the phrase used in the editorial will be remembered as the most inhuman violation of the  letters!

Just Withdraw the editorial for the sake of humanity.

The editors of The Lancet might take  a glance at a Coronise poem straight from the cremation ground -

Yes Sir/Madam I sell the grief and sorrow
Yes Sir/Madam I sell the grief and sorrow
Of different kind and design
With a wide price range
Initially I felt some inhibition
But then I thought
In a world where people have sold their conscience
No harm in selling the grief and sorrow
Kindly tell what kind of sorrow and grief you cherish
Customers' choice is supreme
This grief is from New Delhi's Nigam Bodh Ghat
This is from Mumbai's Chandan Badi
And this grief is special
From the Manikarnika Ghat of  eternal city of Varanasi
Dear Sir/Madam I know
Selling the sorrow and grief is a sin
But I have to keep in mind
Demands by customers
Customer, they say, is second name of God
