John Kerry does a rope trick : indictment of Narendra Modi and praise of "sabka saath:sabka vikas"

New Delhi/ Varanasi. July 29. On the eve of his India trip secretary of state John Kerry performed a rope trick, the great India art of deception. He released a "Report on International religious freedom-2013" which criticised Indian governments ( union and states ) for not protecting rights of minorities, Christians, Muslims, Sikhs and Buddhists etc.. The report especially targets Gujarat government for failing to protect minorities (Muslims) during 2002 riots and not pursuing legal cases against guilty people.
The US government does a favour to Prime Minister Narendra Modi that this time the report does not mention him by name as an instigator of Gujarat riots but the contents of this and earlier reports are quite clear that Uncle Sam is in no mood to give a clean chit to Modi. The report is also highly critical of Sangh Parivar's Hindutva ideology and its anti religious conversion campaigns.
Kerry called the report “a clear-eyed objective look at the state of religious freedom around the world,” adding “it does directly shine a light in a way that makes some countries – even some of our friends – uncomfortable.” Candid enough!
Strangely enough, on the same day Kerry praised Modi's Mantra of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas" (together we all ; development for all ). How genuine is US administration's change of heart ? Any comfort for Mr Modi ?
It is a real Agnipariksha of Modi how he deals with the double talk of  US administration.
