Prevailing narrative in India regarding Bangladesh events

1- It was a regime change if not an outright coup engineered by western countries

2- Muhammad Yunus is most disparaging character in India. Nobody refers him as a Nobel laureate. He is often referred as a puppet or stooge of western countries

3- For most Indians Sheikh Hasina is still a legitimate leader of Bangladesh. India under no circumstances will extradite Hasina. Some people  even hope  she might return to Bangladesh triumphantly..

4- India, Russia and perhaps China are on the same page regarding events in Myanmar and Bangladesh.

India will not extradite Sheikh Hasina to Bangladesh, come what may.

Anger of Indians against US sponsored regime change in Bangladesh keeps growing.

There is almost unanimity among India's diplomatic and strategic community that it was a coup engineered by western countries . Everybody in India consider Muhammad Yunus a stooge.

how will Bangladesh cope with an angry and hostile neighbor?

Narendra Modi knows that Indians, for strange reasons, are more Russian than Russians

Is it rooted in history? ethnicity? common heritage?

Narendra Modi's "courageous friend" Putin, for sure, will not hit Kiev while his Indian friend was there

Bangladesh debacle is a massive foreign policy failure for S Jaishankar. Will or should he lose his job?

Event of  Bangladesh liberation in 1971 shaped the psyche of Indian people in which USSR was a saviour and United States a villain; it still persists to some extent. Recent Bangladesh coup further strengthened the Indian world view that they can not rely on west

Bangladesh coup resulted in deep resentment among Indian elites and masses and anti US sentiments are running all time high

Most Indians believe that United States and western countries are behind this coup

Anti Sheikh Hasina coup is painful for Indians who shed their blood to liberate Bangladesh against all odds
